WELCOME TO FERTILEC’S BIODIVERSITY

A word from Jacques Gosselin, Fertilec Ltée’s president

Since its foundation in 1982, Fertilec has positioned itself strongly and has become a benchmark in the environmental field. For a long time, our 80’s slogan Stop acid soils, was borrowed by many organizations when they used “Stop acid rains”. During that time, our desire to change lifestyles, to see to our planet’s safeguard and consequently, to create a healthier environment for everybody really came to fruition.

Trail-blazers, we were the first to commercialize, so as to replace pesticides, the organic based homogenous fertilizers Harmony and cedar mulch, among other things. This was the beginning of our rise. Fertilec was then the only enterprise to offer a distinctive quality product, that is to say with an environmental calling.  From then on, our innovations in the creation and production of organic homogenous or certified-organic fertilizers of high quality came one after another. Even now, Fertilec makes it its duty to use only natural ingredients, certified OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute).

The success of our enterprise is mainly due to our staff’s expertise. We try by every means available to be ahead of the market trends and this is what makes us proactive. Our team of specialists contributed to make our company a north-american leader when it comes to  fertilizers, always concerned with the environment.

Being the envy of my competitors makes me smile and makes me proud; proud to offer a high quality product which, until now, has often been copied, but rarely equaled. Thus, we can say that we created a movement! In my opinion, this is being a proactive leader. It is my way of thinking, one which gave birth to Fertilec and contributed to bringing the company to where it is now, a family enterprise with a promising future.

This is my definition of Fertilec’s biodiversity.
